Delicious yellow peas puree with smoked eel


  • 1 old medium-sized onion
  • 80 ml of olive oil
  • 500 g of yellow peas
  • 200 g of smoked eel
  • salt, pepper to taste

Cook the yellow peas in a saucepan (make sure there is enough water to cover it). Regularly remove the foam and add onions and olive oil. Reduce heat and continue to cook for about 1 hour and 30 minutes stirring constantly, until it thickens. Add salt and pepper. Take it off the heat and grind in a blender for a few seconds before a mass becomes silky. Serve pea puree hot (or cold) with the smoked eel fillets on top, adding a few drops of olive oil and a little lemon. Gourmet seafood makes this dish delicious and flawless.
